Objective

Learn to create an Access database and design and modify the table component.

Prerequisite Skills

Comfortable with the Windows environment.

Course Description

Do you need to learn how to plan a database, determine what information to include in the database, and decide how that information should be organized? Do you know what you need to include in your database but aren't sure how to create it?

Attend this course if you want to:

  • Plan a database.

  • Create a new database.

  • Create a new table to store your data.

  • Add records to a table.

  • Modify, save, and delete records in a table.

  • Open existing tables.

  • Modify and save tables.

  • Use wizards to create a database or table.

  • Use the switchboard to move to different components of a database.
