Learn to sort and filter records, create simple queries, modify queries, create multiple-table queries, and apply simple calculations to queries.

Prerequisite Skills

Comfortable creating and working with Access databases and tables.

Course Description

Have you created a database, but now want to view, change, or analyze only certain data within it? Do you want to sort or filter your data to work with it more effectively? Do you want to select specific data for inclusion in a form or report?

Attend this course if you want to:

  • Learn about different types of queries.

  • Sort and filter records in a table.

  • Save a filter as a query.

  • Use a wizard to create a simple query.

  • Create a query using the Design view.

  • Modify and save a query.

  • Set properties for a query.

  • Build multiple table queries.

  • Define criteria in a query.

  • Apply simple calculations to a query.

  • Delete queries you no longer need.
