Learn to set up database relationships correctly and how these relationships affect the storage and retrieval of data.

Course Description

When data in your database displays in more than one table, do you know how the information is related? Do you know how to properly modify the relationships when necessary?

Attend this course if you want to:

  • Understand the different types of relationships (one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many).

  • Understand primary and foreign keys.

  • View existing table relationships.

  • Create relationships using lookup fields.

  • Manually create relationships.

  • Enforce referential integrity to ensure records in related tables are updated properly.

  • Delete existing relationships.

  • Understand and change join types.

  • Work with subdatasheets to view related information in a nested table.
