Objective

Learn more about creating and manipulating Access tables. Use advanced data types, create calculated fields, customize field properties, use input masks and validation rules, save field templates, and work with table data.

Course Description

Do you want to allow database users to attach files to fields? Do you want to create fields for hyperlinks to websites or e-mail addresses? Do you want to provide users with a list of valid entries for a field? Do you want to ensure the data that users enter meets specific criteria or is formatted in a specific way?

Attend this course if you want to:

  • Create attachment fields.

  • Create hyperlink fields.

  • Create Lookup & Relationship fields.

  • Set field properties for number fields.

  • Create input masks.

  • Add field validation rules to a field.

  • Add record validation rules to a field.

  • Save a field or set of fields as a user defined type.
