Excel 2010 Power Functions

Objective

Learn to use some of Excel's power functions, including SUMPRODUCT, array formulas, statistical functions, financial functions, and cube functions.

Prerequisite Skills

Comfortable with basic, intermediate, and advanced Excel capabilities.

Course Description

Do you need to calculate multiple ranges of cells? Do you want to use some of Excel's statistical and financial functions? Do you need to retrieve data from OLAP data sources?

Attend this course if you want to:

  • Use the SUMPRODUCT function to calculate grand totals.

  • Use array formulas to perform calculations on one or more ranges.

  • Find the median or mode within a set of numbers.

  • Rank items within a list.

  • Find large or small values within a list.

  • Calculate a payment.

  • Calculate principal and interest amounts.

  • Calculate present or future values.

  • Calculate the depreciation of an asset.

  • Work with cube functions.
