InfoPath 2007 Getting Started
Objective
Learn to create a simple InfoPath form, publish the form so others
can fill it out, and collect the submitted data in Excel 2007.
Prerequisite Skills

Comfortable with the Windows environment and file management
in Windows

Comfortable using one or more of the Microsoft Office 2003
or 2007 programs
(Suggested courses: Any of
the Getting Started classes for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
or Access, versions 2003 or 2007)
Course Description
Do you need to create forms to collect information from other
people? Do you want to learn to design a simple form in InfoPath,
add controls to the form, and publish it for use?
Attend this course if you want to:

Understand InfoPath's capabilities.

Understand the difference between form templates and form
data files.

Fill out an existing form.

Create a new form template.
-
Open an existing form in Design mode to make changes to it.

Organize your form using form layout tables.

Add borders and shading to layout tables.
-
Add text to a form.
-
Insert standard controls, such as text boxes, list boxes,
date pickers, check boxes, and option buttons.

Delete controls from a form.
-
Check for errors and potential compatibility problems with
a form.
-
Publish a form template so that you can distribute it to
users for completion.

Collect form data in Excel.
