InfoPath 2007 Working with Forms

Objective

Use repeating tables, repeating sections, and optional sections to enhance form design. Add additional controls to the form, create a button to submit the form over e-mail, and create simple calculations in form controls.

Prerequisite Skills

Comfortable creating basic forms in InfoPath 2007, including using layout tables and simple controls and publishing the form via e-mail.

Course Description

Do you need to let users add multiple instances of data to a form, or add optional sections to a form? Do you need to include advanced controls on your form to allow users to add file attachments and pictures? Do you want to add calculations to the form?

Attend this course if you want to:

  • Use repeating tables in forms.

  • Use repeating sections in forms.

  • Use optional sections in forms.

  • Use file attachment and picture controls in forms.

  • Add a hyperlink to a form.

  • Add a Submit button to a form to send the completed form to an e-mail address.

  • Make form controls mandatory, so users are required to complete them.

  • Create simple calculations in controls on a form.
