Outlook 2003 Managing Multiple Calendars & Mailboxes

Objective

Learn to effectively manage more than one Outlook 2003 calendar, work with mail folders and Outlook components other than your own, and delegate access to your Outlook calendar and folders to another user.

Course Description

Have you been asked to help schedule and respond to meeting requests on someone else's behalf? Do you want to give someone else permission to create and modify calendar entries, mail messages, and other Outlook items for you? Do you want to share your contact list or specific mail folder with members of your team? Outlook offers a variety of options for providing others with access to your calendar and other Outlook folders and for viewing the items other users have given you access to.

Attend this course if you want to:

  • Understand the benefits and capabilities of working with multiple Outlook calendars and other components.

  • Understand permissions and delegation.

  • Allow others users to view your calendar.

  • Assign delegates or permissions to your calendar or other components.

  • View someone else's calendar or other Outlook components.

  • Schedule a meeting on someone's behalf.

  • Track meeting request responses.

  • Reschedule or cancel a meeting.

  • Send a mail message to meeting attendees.

  • Share mail folders with other users.

  • Send mail messages on someone's behalf.
