Outlook 2007 Managing Multiple Calendars & Mailboxes

Objective

Learn to delegate access and share your Outlook calendar and folders with other users. Learn to effectively manage more than one Outlook calendar, and work with mail folders and Outlook components other than your own.

Course Description

Have you been asked to help schedule and respond to meeting requests on someone else's behalf? Do you want to give someone else permission to create and modify calendar entries, mail messages, and other Outlook items for you? Do you want to share your contact list or specific mail folders with members of your team? Outlook offers a variety of options for providing others with access to your calendar and other Outlook folders and for viewing the items other users have given you access to.

Attend this course if you want to:

  • Understand the benefits and capabilities of working with multiple Outlook calendars and other components.

  • Understand delegation and folder sharing.

  • Assign delegates to your calendar or other components.

  • Add another person's mailbox to your Navigation Pane.

  • Share folders with other users.

  • Request access to someone else's Outlook components.

  • Share a folder with everyone in your organization.

  • Open a shared calendar.

  • Schedule an appointment or meeting on someone else's calendar.

  • Open another person's Inbox or other Outlook component.

  • Send mail on the mailbox owner's behalf.

  • Post a message in a folder in someone else's mailbox.

  • Create and view additional calendars.
