Outlook 2010 Mail Advanced

Objective

Learn to enhance your use of Outlook 2010 by using advanced messaging features.

Course Description

Are you always typing the same information at the close of each of your mail messages? Do you want to mark messages to remind yourself to follow up on them? Do you want to track messages, gather votes on a particular topic, or set delivery options for a message?

Attend this course if you want to:

  • Add a signature to the end of your e-mail messages.

  • Flag an outgoing message to provide additional instructions or requests to the recipient.

  • Flag an incoming message to remind yourself to complete some follow up action.

  • Categorize your messages.

  • Indicate to recipients that your message is of high (or low) importance.

  • Indicate to recipients that your message contains sensitive or confidential information.

  • Secure a message using Information Rights Management (if available).

  • Use voting buttons to solicit responses from recipients.

  • Track messages to know when the recipient receives and/or reads the message.

  • Attempt to recall a message you sent.

  • Resend a message.

  • Choose a location to save sent messages.

  • Schedule a message to be delivered at a later time or date.

  • Indicate that message replies should be sent to a different address.

  • Set a message to expire after a certain date.

  • View or change message properties.

  • Retain a draft message to use as a template for future messages.

  • Post a message in a folder.

  • Send a file from an Office application or from a Windows folder.
