Learn to navigate in the new Outlook 2010 interface and understand the new and improved features available in the latest version of Outlook.

Prerequisite Skills

Comfortable with the Windows environment and with a previous version of Outlook.

Have you recently upgraded to Outlook 2010 (or are you preparing to upgrade)? Do you need help finding information and navigating around in the new interface? Do you want to learn how Outlook's new features can help increase your efficiency?

Attend this course if you want to:

  • Understand and navigate the new Outlook interface.

  • Use the Ribbon and Quick Access toolbar to access commands.

  • Work with the Backstage view.

  • View information in the To-Do Bar.

  • Compose new messages, appointments, contacts, and tasks.

  • Understand MailTips.

  • Include screenshots in messages.

  • View messages in a conversation.

  • Preview attachments in a message.

  • Quick Flag a message you receive.

  • Categorize items in your mailbox.

  • Use Quick Steps to automate procedures.

  • View contacts in Business Card view.

  • Create contacts from Outlook's new Suggested Contacts folder.

  • Navigate the Outlook Calendar.
