PowerPoint 2003 Formatting Presentations

Objective

Learn to format presentations using the text, bullets and numbering, and color options, as well as applying predefined templates.

Prerequisite Skills

Comfortable with basic PowerPoint capabilities.

Course Description

Do you want your presentations to really capture your audience's attention? Do you want to design your presentation so that the same text or graphic (e.g., a logo) appears in the same spot on every slide? Do you want to choose a different color scheme for your slides?

Attend this course if you want to:

  • Format text and bullets on your slides.

  • Replace one font with another throughout your presentation.

  • Adjust the text size to fit the slide.

  • Add clip art and other graphics to a slide.

  • Consistently format slides using the Slide Master and Title Master.

  • Use PowerPoint's Design templates to enhance the look of a presentation.

  • Select a Presentations template to help you build the content of a presentation.

  • Change the look of a presentation by applying a different color scheme.

  • Apply a shaded, textured, patterned, or picture background to your slides.

  • Save a presentation as a custom template so you can use it as a basis for future presentations.
