PowerPoint 2010 Formatting Presentations I
Objective
Learn to enhance PowerPoint presentations by formatting text,
applying bullet or number formats, adding graphics, and applying
and manipulating themes. Also, learn how to change the default
formatting for all slides in a presentation by altering the slide
master and how to save your formatting choices as a custom theme
for use in future presentations.
Prerequisite Skills
Comfortable with basic PowerPoint capabilities.

Course Description
Do you want your presentations to really capture your audience's
attention? Do you want to design your presentation so that the
same text or graphic (e.g., a logo) appears in the same spot on
every slide? Do you want to change the look of an entire presentation
quickly and easily?
Attend this course if you want to:

Select text and placeholders.

Format text using the Ribbon, the Mini toolbar, and WordArt
styles.

Copy formatting from one location and apply it to text in
another location.

Change the alignment or position of text within a placeholder.

Adjust text to better fit on the slide.

Select a different bullet style for bulleted lists.

Create a numbered list.

Insert a picture from a file or an image from the Clip Art
gallery.

Apply a theme to a presentation and customize the theme as
you see fit.

Change the look of the slide background.

Consistently format slides using the slide master.

Create a custom theme to apply the same formatting choices
