Project 2007 Customizing a Project Plan

Objective

Learn to enhance project plans and show project data in multiple ways through the use of customized tables, fields, filters, groups, and views.

Prerequisite Skills

• Comfortable with the Windows environment

• Comfortable with a wide range of Microsoft Project 2007 capabilities
  (Suggested courses: Project 2007 Getting Started, Project 2007 Refining a Project Plan, Project 2007 Working with Resources, Project 2007 Working with Costs, Project 2007 Tips & Shortcuts, and Project 2007 Tracking a Project)

Course Description

Attend this course if you want to:

• Add, remove, and rearrange columns in a table.

• Create custom fields.

• Add a lookup table, calculation, or graphical indicators to a custom field.

• Customize filters and groups.

• Customize views or create new views.

• Use the Organizer to copy objects between project plans.
