The Virtual
Classroom
From
our students...
"I
have recommended [E&A's Web-based] courses to many of
my co-workers. The classes are easy to attend and the instructors
are friendly and knowledgeable."
"This
was the first time I took a Web-based course, and I wasn't
sure what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised to find
that it was a VERY effective learning method. I plan to take
other courses this way."

Elert
& Associates' virtual classroom makes it possible to attend
a live, instructor-led class anywhere you have access
to the Internet and a telephone.
Use
your Web browser to join the class and view the instructor's screen.
Hear and interact with the instructor and other students via a conference
call.
Because
you can attend class right from your desk, you avoid the lost time
and expense of traveling to a separate training site. Best of all,
most classes are just 90 minutes long and focus on a specific topic
or set of tasks in an application, which helps to ensure your training
time is productive and 100% applicable to your needs.

for your organization, contact us for
available dates and pricing.)
Note:
Prices do not include long distance charges for the audio

What Classes
Are Available?
The
public schedule includes
a variety of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Visio 90 Minute
Workouts® and Microsoft Project 3.5-hour classes.
See our course catalog for descriptions
and any prerequisite skills recommended for each class. Note that
not all courses in the catalog are included on the public schedule.
The course descriptions indicate the available delivery options.
In
addition to public classes, two other options are also available:
One-on-One
Application Support Sessions
During these 45-minute sessions, individuals work one-on-one with
an instructor on the topic of their choice. You can choose a topic
from our course catalog (e.g., a class you're interested in that
is not offered on the public schedule) or come with your own questions
about how best to use a particular application for a project or
document you are working on.
Dedicated
(Private) Classes
If
your organization has a group of people who want training on the
same topic, contact us to schedule a dedicated session for that
group. Choose a course from our catalog
or let us work with you to customize a session to best meet the
participants' needs.
What Courseware
Is Provided?
Once
you register for a class, you'll receive a confirmation message
containing instructions for joining the class as well as a link
to the courseware for the class. Use this link and the accompanying
password to download and print the courseware before your class.
(The courseware is a PDF file; viewing it requires the free Adobe
Reader software.)
Our
students consistently comment on the quality and usefulness of E&A's
courseware. We strive to write detailed and thorough materials that
successfully support classroom instruction but also serve as a valuable
follow-up reference after the class. For more information and examples,
please see our Courseware page.
Why Choose
E&A's Virtual Classroom?
Some
training providers' "virtual classroom" courses are actually
just self-study modules available through the provider's Web site.
These sessions may be facilitated or monitored in some way by an
instructor, but there is little or no real-time interaction to ensure
students are understanding and successfully applying the course
content.
Elert
& Associates is one of the very few training providers currently
offering live, instructor-led training in a virtual classroom--a
perfect solution for those students who learn better in a classroom
environment but don't have the time or ability to attend an on-site
class.
