Objective

Learn to apply Word's bullets and numbering formats to create lists within your documents, to customize those formats to better meet your needs, and to apply outline numbering schemes to the headings in a document.

Course Description

Do you want to change the appearance of the numbers or bullets in a numbered or bulleted list? Do you want to use a numbering scheme other than the ones available as built-in or default list formats? Do you want to apply sequential numbers or letters to the headings in a document?

Attend this course if you want to:

  • Understand which type of lists to use when.

  • Create numbered or bulleted lists.

  • Customize a number or bullet format.

  • Restore Word's default list formats after creating custom formats.

  • Include unnumbered or unbulleted lines within a list.

  • Create numbered or bulleted lists automatically.

  • Create an outline-level list.

  • Use outline list styles to number the headings in a document.

  • Customize an outline list format.

  • Apply and create list styles.
