Objective
Learn formatting techniques you can use to make your Word documents
more readable, more visually pleasing, and more effective as communication
tools.

Course Description
Do you want to make your documents look more professional? Do
you want to enhance the text within a document with font changes,
borders, or shading? Do you want to create numbered or bulleted
lists, or change the way text lines up on the page?
Attend this course if you want to:

Change the style and size of document text.

Apply bold, italics, and underlining, as well as other text
formats.

Adjust the amount of space between characters.

Change the default font and size for all new documents you
create.

Indent individual paragraphs without changing the margins
for the entire document.

Use tabs to align and position information consistently.

Adjust the amount of space above, below, or between the lines
within a paragraph.

Apply borders and shading to words, paragraphs, or pages
in your document.

Copy formatting applied in one portion of your document to
text in another location.

Create numbered or bulleted lists.

Force a line to break within a paragraph or list.

Adjust where page breaks occur in a document.

Change the orientation of the page from portrait to landscape.

Change margins to allow more or less information to fit on
a page.
